When I moved to Massachusetts two years ago, I got into a really bad funk and completely stopped working out and eating healthy. I would go whole days without eating and then binge junk food at night. Between that, my struggling relationship with food, and COVID, I ended up gaining 40 lbs. I was embarrassed with myself, miserable whenever I had to look at myself in the mirror or put on clothes that weren’t sweatpants, and I was struggling to pull myself out of that funk. I joined Total Refit in December 2020 when they had their holiday deal. The workouts were amazing, Steff, Mike, and all the members were so friendly and welcoming, and I finally started feeling motivated again. I heard Steff talk about the nutrition aspect that she offered, and I met with her to discuss it a few times but kept making excuses on why not to do it. After meeting with her three times, I finally decided enough was enough and I needed to do this so I could be held accountable and make real lasting changes with my eating habits. Steff took my weight and measurements and went over all aspects of the nutrition guidelines with me. She was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in explaining everything to me. She put so much effort and time making sure I had all the tools I needed to succeed during this 12-week challenge. She checked my food log daily and if I was struggling, she was always there to help me with anything that I needed. She completely changed the way I live my everyday life with food. I am more conscious of the things that I put into my body, and I feel incredible after 12 weeks with her guidance! I would highly suggest working with Steff to anyone and everyone that I know. In 12 weeks, I lost 21 lbs and 11 inches - I feel better, I look better, and I will carry this knowledge with me for the rest of my life! THANK YOU STEFF!!!!



I've been stuck at my "pre-pregnancy" weight after having my daughter, feeling uncomfortable and needing the extra push that I knew Steff would certainly give me!


8 weeks ago, I jumped into the ‘weight loss challenge’ that Steff was coaching. She provided us with recipes and suggestions on proper food choices and tips to help achieve weight loss, in addition to her amazing workouts. I lost 5 pounds the first week, felt great and wanted to continue pushing myself each week to lose a little more. (one week I gained 8 ounces so Steff lowered my caloric intake and that helped.) I lost 12 pounds in the 8 weeks, worked out 4 or 5 times a week and completely changed my eating habits.


I plan to continue this clean and healthy eating, in addition to working out and hoping to lose a few more pounds. I know Steff will continue to hold me accountable but I love the feeling of having shed those unwanted pounds, buying smaller clothes and overall just feeling better about myself and having more energy! I can’t thank you enough Steff for all you do and all your motivation! 


And I thought I looked good🤦🏼‍♀️ can’t wait to continue doing why I’m doing and REALLY rocking a bikini


I have been part of the Total Refit Nutrition for 9 month and I have to say hands down, the best choice I’ve made! TRN has a VERY friendly team who make me actually want to go train. I look forward to walking through the doors and always feel amazing when I leave. 

It comes back in Mid-May 2021. Coming out of quarantine wasn’t easy. Scrolling through my IG account I saw a post where there was a mom working out really hard but it wasn’t just that that got my attention! In that short clip there was a little girl playing in the background which made me think that children were welcome to wait in the waiting area for their parents.This might sound insignificant but think about that time when you couldn’t even bring your significant other to a doctor's appointment, forget having your kids hanging out at waiting area anywhere! So that right there made me call. I got in touch with Steff. She gave me a brief description of the classes and invited me to come see her that same day, so I did! Met her, got a tour,membership details and I signed up for it! Since the first time I walked into that door I felt welcomed and supported not only for the coaches but for the other members.  

The vibe and support that you get here is AWESOME. Time went by and one day Steff told me about this 8 week Nutrition Plan. Like always she explained to me what it was in detail. Walking out the door with this bouncing inside my head. It took me a few days to make a decision simply because I needed to come to the realization of the eating disorder I was living in. So, I signed up for it!! Our first meeting got me cleaning up the cabinets, making a food list with foods that not only would make a meal but that would be substantial and nutritious for my body. Committed to working out 3-5 times a week and healthy foods. I was able to lose 15 pounds through the 8 weeks. Being part of this family has changed my life. It has taught me to love, care and respect my body. If you’re someone like me that has no experience in this fitness world I would like to invite you to surround yourself with people that would push you to be the best version of yourself.
