When I moved to Massachusetts two years ago, I got into a really bad funk and completely stopped working out and eating healthy. I would go whole days without eating and then binge junk food at night. Between that, my struggling relationship with food, and COVID, I ended up gaining 40 lbs. I was embarrassed with myself, miserable whenever I had to look at myself in the mirror or put on clothes that weren’t sweatpants, and I was struggling to pull myself out of that funk. I joined Total Refit in December 2020 when they had their holiday deal. The workouts were amazing, Steff, Mike, and all the members were so friendly and welcoming, and I finally started feeling motivated again. I heard Steff talk about the nutrition aspect that she offered, and I met with her to discuss it a few times but kept making excuses on why not to do it. After meeting with her three times, I finally decided enough was enough and I needed to do this so I could be held accountable and make real lasting changes with my eating habits. Steff took my weight and measurements and went over all aspects of the nutrition guidelines with me. She was extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in explaining everything to me. She put so much effort and time making sure I had all the tools I needed to succeed during this 12-week challenge. She checked my food log daily and if I was struggling, she was always there to help me with anything that I needed. She completely changed the way I live my everyday life with food. I am more conscious of the things that I put into my body, and I feel incredible after 12 weeks with her guidance! I would highly suggest working with Steff to anyone and everyone that I know. In 12 weeks, I lost 21 lbs and 11 inches - I feel better, I look better, and I will carry this knowledge with me for the rest of my life! THANK YOU STEFF!!!!
